Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about setup, usage, and community.
Setup & Compatibility
You need three things: a WoW TBC (The Burning Crusade) client, the TellMeWhen (TMW) addon, and the GGL Action framework. The rotation runs as a TMW profile powered by the Action framework — it won't work without both installed. See the Installation Guide for step-by-step setup.
All 9 classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior. Each class has multiple spec-specific playstyles with configurable settings. See the class pages for detailed rotation breakdowns.
Flux AIO works on any TBC 2.4.3 client that supports the GGL Action framework. This includes most popular private servers running the TBC patch. It does not support Classic Era (1.12), Wrath, or Retail.
Flux AIO uses its own TMW profile, so it won't overwrite your existing profiles. You can switch between them freely. It shouldn't conflict with other addons, but if you're running another rotation addon on the same Action framework, make sure only one profile is active at a time.
Download the latest TellMeWhen.lua from the releases page and re-import it into your SavedVariables, then /reload in-game. Your settings are stored separately in the Action framework's profile database, so they'll carry over between updates.
Usage & Behavior
Check a few things: (1) the ability might be disabled in settings — open the settings UI and verify the toggle is on, (2) resource thresholds might not be met — some abilities only fire above certain energy/mana/rage levels, (3) the target might not meet conditions like time-to-die or debuff requirements. Enable Debug Mode in settings to see what the rotation is evaluating.
By design. During PVE combat, the rotation respects your current form and won't shift you out of it. This prevents disrupting your gameplay — you stay in control of form choices. The A[1] suggestion icon will recommend when a form change would be beneficial (e.g., shifting to Bear when taking damage). Out of combat, the Caster idle playstyle handles self-healing and buff maintenance.
The suggestion icon shows abilities the rotation recommends but won't auto-cast — typically form shifts, manual cooldowns, or situational abilities. It's a visual hint, not an action. You decide whether to follow it.
Yes. Open the Flux AIO settings UI via the minimap button or TMW options. Settings are organized by category with sliders for numeric thresholds (health %, mana %, energy levels) and checkboxes for enabling/disabling individual abilities. Changes take effect immediately — no reload needed.
Community
Reach out on Discord with a description of the problem and steps to reproduce it. For feature requests, describe what you'd like and why.
The Flux AIO Discord bot lets you request personalized rotation tweaks. Describe what you want changed (e.g., "lower the health threshold for Healing Touch to 40%") and the bot generates a custom build with your modifications. It's powered by AI and produces a ready-to-import profile.
