Playstyles

Affliction

Full DoT stack management, Shadow Trance procs, Drain Soul execute, and Dark Pact mana recovery.

Demonology

Felguard pet build or Demonic Sacrifice mode. Pet health management and Shadow Bolt filler.

Destruction

Immolate/Conflagrate cycling, Backlash procs, Shadowburn execute, and fire/shadow build selection.

Affliction

Recommended: Affliction (41pt) View Build

Rotation

  • Shadow Trance (Nightfall) proc — instant Shadow Bolt, highest priority
  • Curse maintenance with optional Amplify Curse before Doom/Agony
  • Unstable Affliction (41-pt talent) with smart refresh timing
  • Corruption and Siphon Life DoT maintenance
  • Optional Immolate for additional DoT pressure
  • Shadow Bolt as primary filler between DoT refreshes

Execute Phase

  • Drain Soul below configurable HP threshold for Soul Siphon bonus damage

Mana Recovery

  • Dark Pact preferred (drain pet mana instead of self HP)
  • Life Tap as fallback with HP safety threshold

AoE

  • Seed of Corruption at configurable enemy threshold

Felguard Build (Default)

  • Health Funnel to maintain Felguard HP above threshold
  • Curse maintenance on target
  • Optional Corruption and Immolate DoTs
  • Shadow Bolt as primary filler
  • Fel Domination for instant pet resummon if killed

Demonic Sacrifice Build

  • Toggle via settings to sacrifice pet for +15% damage buff
  • Succubus sacrifice for shadow damage, Imp for fire damage
  • All pet management disabled when active

AoE

  • Seed of Corruption at configurable enemy threshold

Destruction

Recommended: Destruction (40pt) View Build

Rotation

  • Backlash proc — instant Shadow Bolt or Incinerate based on build
  • Immolate maintenance (required for Incinerate +25% bonus)
  • Conflagrate on cooldown — consumes Immolate, auto-reapplied
  • Shadowfury instant AoE stun (41-pt talent)
  • Configurable primary spell: Incinerate (fire build) or Shadow Bolt (shadow build)

Execute Phase

  • Shadowburn instant nuke below configurable HP threshold (costs 1 Soul Shard)

AoE

  • Seed of Corruption at configurable enemy threshold

  • Configurable curse: Elements, Agony, Doom, Recklessness, Tongues, or None
  • Persistent duration tracking with auto-refresh

Emergency & Recovery

  • Death Coil emergency heal + horror debuff at configurable HP threshold
  • Soulshatter for automatic threat dump (costs 1 Soul Shard)
  • Healthstone and Healing Potion at configurable thresholds

Mana Recovery

  • Life Tap (proactive at mana threshold + fallback when OOM) with HP safety
  • Dark Pact to drain pet mana (Affliction talent)
  • Mana Potion and Dark Rune with HP safety check
